I can't think of 10 people, so here:
> Goes to GameStop to pre-order Pokemon Omega Ruby
> Woman goes to the front and I ask her if I could pre-order Omega Ruby
> She says "Yes" and asks for my cell number
> Tells her I don't have an account and that my mother does, and so I give her my mother's number
> Asks her about how points work since my uncle had 3k and they were transferred over to my mother's account
> She says stuff that makes no sense to me since I mainly shop online and I just nod my head every so often
> She gives me my receipt
> Tells her thanks and goes around to look for Devil May Cry 4
> Meets this guy and we talk about the Devil May Cry series and a bit of Smash Bros.
> Finds Devil May Cry 4 for $5
> Picks it up and goes to one of the people on the other side
> He asks if I'm 18 or older and I reply with a no
> Asks if my mother's with me and I tell them she's in the car outside
> Leaves to get her
> We walk back in
> I ask if I can buy the game with points since I have no money left
> The lady says that my mother would have to go online or some shit and she'd get a coupon, but I don't have enough points to do so.
> My mom looks at me with a confused face
> They say sorry
> My mom and I walk out and say nothing
And this is why I buy online.
> Runs into Azelf
> Saves before the battle
> Zoroark as lead
> Battle begins
> Not Shiny
> Soft resets a whole bunch
> Uses Shadow Claw
> Critical hit
I've been soft resetting for 3 hours now so I can find it again
Pokemon X and Y, the newest games of the main Pokemon story line. It features new game mechanics such as Trainer customization, Pokemon-Amie, Super Training, and Player Search System that replaces the WiFi rooms and Pal Pad. X and Y are the first games to be released world wide on the same day and the first non-spin off Pokemon games for the Nintendo 3DS. The flaws, however, are inexcusable. First, the game is too washed out and felt as though it was rushed. I understand that Game Freak had to finish developing the game in order to release it world wide, but it leaves no impression on me and could of been worked on much earlier in order to do so. The lack of Pokemon really brings the game down and they tried to make it up by adding in the majority of the Pokemon from other regions when, however, it just doesn't work. It's again inexcusable, as they could of released more Pokemon in order to make the game a little more memorable. The game has little to no character development and the only characters that do have background information are the AZ, Lysandre, Malva, and Korrina, and the rest are just there with no information whatsoever. Why did Siebold become a chef? How does Ramos keep his gym in shape? How and why did Clemont become an inventor at such a young age? Why does Valerie pretend to be a Pokemon? What made Viola become a photographer? Other main games actually have development for most characters and make you show emotion for them. Your rivals, Calem/Serena, Trevor, Shauna, and Tierno are also little shits who prevent you from moving on multiple times throughout the main story just to do stupid things such as saving a lost Furfrou just to watch fireworks, watch Lumiose City's power be restored, and visit a "haunted" house. I don't want to walk into a stupid house just to hear a not-at-all scary story nor do I want to watch fireworks that drain out 2 or some minutes of game time when I could be at the next town by now. The game is too cheery for a main story Pokemon game, which I don't like. It gets you off track by slamming stupid events in your face and everyone's too cheerful and kid-like when an apocalypse is near, which really pisses me off. The game also has little-to-no thing after beating the main story such as the Looker missions, which are really disappointing and try to be emotional, the Battle Maison, which you need the right Pokemon just to win, and a poor excuse for a Safari in which you need friends on your 3DS to walk into Safaris which you or your friends can't change since both you and your friends have assigned types and up to three Pokemon for their Safari and you are most likely going to have more than one of the same Safari type with/without the same exact Pokemon (such as me having 7 Normal type Safaris, 4 Poison, 8 Ground, 5 Electric, 4 Grass, and 4 Dark along with two Ghost types that have the same exact three Pokemon.) The game also makes it too easy to level up Pokemon with or without the Exp. Share enabled because of Pokemon-Amie or Victory Road or the Friend Safari. My Lugia I obtained before Pokemon Bank's English release grew from level 45 to 100 in under 6 hours while farming in Victory Road and my Ocean Vivillon from level 14 to 80 in a matter of 4 hours because of how easy it is to raise Pokemon. And finally, Fairy types and Mega Evolutions, in my opinion, are really unbalanced. Fairy types make Dark, Dragon, and Fighting types seem like pansies while Mega Evolutions can break the game with their abilities such as Mega Lucario's Adaptability, which powers up moves of the same type to either 50% or 100%, meaning you can spam Close Combat, Aura Sphere, or Flash Cannon, Mega Charizard X's Tough Claws ability that powers up claw moves, meaning you can teach it Dragon Claw and nearly sweep a whole team, Mega Gardevoir's Pixilate, which turns Normal type moves into Fairy. It's Sp. Attack is insane and you can teach it Hyper Beam or Moon Blast and you're basically dead. And then there's Mega Kangaskhan, who's Parental Bond allows the user to attack with the same move twice, breaking online play further. Personally, if I were to rate Pokemon X and Y on a scale of 1-10, the best I can give it is a 4.5 to 6. It tries too hard to be a good game and it had the potential to be one. Hopefully the next game will fix thing sup and add more mechanics or activities after the main story.
